A Default search engine is used throughout gShift to identify which search engine to collect data from. This is evident in numerous beacons, panels and reports. Ensuring you have the proper search engine selected as your default is an important step in configuring a web presence.
Follow these steps to Set a Default Search Engine:
- Navigate to the Web Presence you would like to configure.
- Go to Keywords > Manage.
- Click the Search Engine from the left side navigation you would like to set as a default.
- Click the Set as Default Search Engine button.
- You will now see a star beside the search engine's name to identify it as the default.
