Site Audit Statuses Explained

The Site Audit may return Other Errors. These errors occur when a web server that we crawl responds with a HTTP Response other than the following responses: 301, 302, 404 or 200.

There are a number of response codes that a web site can give some common ones we have seen include:

  • 403, 999 - Access Denied
  • 503 - Service Unavailable
  • 500 - Internal Server Error
  • 410 - Gone

We can't account for all HTTP Status codes as they can be set by a webmaster. For a Full List of HTTP Status Codes
