How to Avoid Keyword Overages?

Going over the allotted keyword limit can incur keyword overages. Refer to your contract to determine your keyword limit. 

Here are some useful tips to help avoid keyword overages:

  • Unfollow Irrelative Keywords - Keywords relativity change over time. Perhaps you added keywords that were campaign specific, old product lines or locations you no longer service. Unfollow these keywords to free up space. 
  • Unfollow Irrelative Search Engines - Similar to keywords sometimes Search Engines become irrelative. This could be because of market share, locations or marketing direction. 
  • Review your Actual Usage - When making changes to your keywords within your account be sure to review the Actual usage to know how many keywords you have removed.
