How to Add a Campaign

Adding a campaign to gShift is a great way for reporting on the performance of your marketing efforts online. Campaigns allow you to group together content (On-Site and Off-Site), Keywords, Email Campaigns and specific goals. Campaigns allow you to focus on a particular collection of content for a period of time. They are intended for reporting on content engagement and performance in search engines, social media and email. 

To get started with Campaigns navigate to the Content Performance section and follow these steps:

  1. Click the "+ Add Campaign" Button
  2. Enter a Name for your Campaign and the Start and End Date. Once this is entered Click Next Step.
  3. You will now see a list of On-Site pages you have available to you. Push the plus symbol to add them to your campaign. Pages selected will move to the area below. Search through On-Site pages using the search box. Click Next Step once you have added all the On-site pages. (Tip: Ensure you have added all on-site pages before starting to add a campaign, you can add them later if necessary)
  4. You will now see a list of Off-Site pages you have available to you. Push the plus symbol to add them to your campaign. Pages selected will move to the area below. Search through Off-Site pages using the search box. Click Next Step once you have added all the Off-site pages. (Tip: Ensure you have added all off-site pages before starting to add a campaign, you can add them later if necessary)
  5. Select the keyword options you would like to apply to the Campaign:
      • Use All Presence Keywords
      • Select or Create a Keyword Kluster
      • Select Individual Campaign Keywords
      • Click Next after you have selected. 
  6. Select Goals - If you want to restrict your campaign to measure only certain goals select Restrict Goals and select the goals that you would like to use. Click "Next Step" when you are ready to move on. 
  7. Constant Contact - Select the email campaigns to be added to the campaign. Once you have these selected click "Create Campaign"
  8. Congratulations you have create a campaign. Check back tomorrow for data.
